Job summary

PT KLK Dumai is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities and drive reliability across the plant. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation while ensuring uninterrupted utilities, energy efficiency, and cost control.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on experience with biomass boilers, steam systems, and turbines, plus 5–8 years in maintenance with 2–3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, refinery (palm oil), or biomass power plant.
• 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience operating biomass boilers, steam generation systems, and steam turbines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and lead root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring failures and improve asset reliability.
• Ensure timely execution of maintenance shutdowns, turnarounds, and major overhauls.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production requirements.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, power, water, and other utilities required for plant operations.
• Optimize energy efficiency and utility consumption to support sustainability and cost management objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance operational performance.
• Lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Control maintenance costs through effective planning, spare parts management, and contractor performance monitoring.
• Ensure all maintenance and utility activities comply with company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.

At least 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Hands-on experience operating biomass boilers, steam generation systems, and steam turbines is preferred.
