You will oversee daily operations of boilers, water treatment, effluent and sewage plants, gensets, and air systems; monitor performance; coordinate with maintenance; and lead engineers toward cost control and performance optimization.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager Utility to support the reliable and efficient operation of our utility facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted utility services, driving continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining safety compliance, and developing a high-performing operations team.
Support the daily operation of utility facilities, including Boiler, Water Treatment Plant (WTP/SWRO), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Diesel Genset, Gas Engine Genset, and Air Compressor systems.
Monitor utility performance and ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Lead, coach, and develop utility operators to enhance team performance and competency.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Support budgeting, cost control, and operational improvement initiatives.
Analyze operational performance and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations for performance optimization.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role, or 5 years of experience at Supervisor level within utility operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems and maintenance best practices.
Familiar with reliability improvement, preventive maintenance, and operational excellence initiatives.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
