Job summary

PT Bali Spirit in Bali is seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations and support the General Manager.

You will lead retail and F&B teams, drive guest satisfaction, monitor performance, and contribute to business development and promotions. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience in retail, F&B, hospitality, or related sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commercially minded with good understanding of operations and profitability.
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Experience living or working in Bali preferred.

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily business operations
• Manage and coordinate teams across retail and F&B operations
• Ensure high standards of customer service and guest experience
• Monitor operational performance, sales, costs, and profitability
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
• Develop and implement operational procedures and improvements
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders
• Assist with business development, marketing, and promotional activities
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue, and customer satisfaction
• Act as the General Manager's representative when required

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant General Manager to support the overall management and daily operations of our business in Bali.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail, food & beverage (F&B), hospitality, or related industries, with proven experience in team management, operations, customer service, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily business operations

Manage and coordinate teams across retail and F&B operations

Ensure high standards of customer service and guest experience

Monitor operational performance, sales, costs, and profitability

Support recruitment, training, and performance management of staff

Develop and implement operational procedures and improvements

Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders

Assist with business development, marketing, and promotional activities

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue, and customer satisfaction

Act as the General Manager's representative when required

Requirements

Proven experience in a management or supervisory role

Experience in retail, F&B, hospitality, or a combination of these sectors

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Commercially minded with good understanding of operations and profitability

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Previous experience living or working in Bali is highly preferred

Ability to work hands-on and adapt to the dynamic nature of the Bali business environment
