• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, maintenance, and F&B.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related field.

• Lead recruitment, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop relationships with owners, guests, vendors, and partners.
• Conduct property inspections to maintain brand and standards.
• Support sales, marketing, and yield management to maximize occupancy.
• Partner with Finance for accurate reporting and month-end processes.
• Represent the company in stakeholder meetings where applicable.

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of our Dreamland Resort, Bali , and support regional resort operations. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest and owner experiences, driving commercial results, ensuring compliance, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and overall performance of Dreamland Resort and assigned regional properties.

• Drive guest satisfaction, owner engagement, and service excellence.

• Manage resort budgets, forecasts, revenue, and profitability targets.

• Lead, coach, and develop departmental leaders and resort teams.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and local regulatory requirements.

• Manage recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.

• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, guests, vendors, tourism partners, and local communities.

• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain brand and operational standards.

• Support sales, marketing, and yield management strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and month-end processes.

• Represent the company in Body Corporate and stakeholder meetings where applicable.

What You'll Bring

• Proven senior leadership experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or vacation ownership.

• Strong financial management, budgeting, and commercial acumen.

• Experience managing multiple departments or properties.

• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

• Experience with Hotel PMS systems (Micros Fidelio, Hirum, or similar preferred).

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.
