Job summary

PT Moneta Pembayaran Teknologi is seeking a Backend/Technical Integration Specialist to lead the integration of our API platform with client systems.

You will guide client teams through API documentation, sandbox setup, and production deployment, and provide technical consulting on workflows, authentication, data mapping, and ledger operations. You will support testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with product and engineering for onboarding improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer, Technical Integration Specialist, Solutions Engineer, or related IT support role.
• Fluent in English OR Mandarin (written and spoken) for international communications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, cURL).
• Familiarity with at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, or Go).
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and log analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical integration between Moneta's API platform and client systems.
• Guide client technical teams through API documentation, sandbox setup, and production deployment.
• Provide technical consulting on API workflows, authentication, data mapping, and ledger/virtual balance operations.
• Debug and resolve integration issues (payloads, webhooks, responses, authentication).
• Review client integration logs, simulate edge cases, and perform sandbox testing before go-live.
• Act as Tier-2 support for issues escalated by internal teams or clients.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Merchant Operations to resolve bugs or request features.
• Update and maintain developer docs, integration guides, and code samples.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to optimize onboarding.
