Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking a candidate to establish and manage an efficient Search & Account Safety Labeling team in Surabaya. Responsibilities include labeling search queries, reviewing content per TikTok policies, and coordinating with internal teams for user and brand safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 1+ year in data labeling/AI tasks, strong English skills (B2), and the ability to work under pressure with strict SOPs. 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on-site in Surabaya.

Job description

The selected supplier will be responsible for the establishment and management of an excellent Search & Account Safety Labeling team. Tasks include, but may not be limited to:

• Search Query Relevance Labeling, Content Safety Review, and Risk Type Labeling in accordance with TikTok processes and policies;
• Reviewing content (videos, images, text, audio, and account) in accordance with TikTok processes and policies;
• Liaising with TikTok internal teams to ensure user and brand safety;

Responsibilities:

• Review complex and high-quality content for adherence to established guidelines and standards.
• Different SOP on different cases in one queue based on the query type.
• Different perspectives of users to judge the risk of the content.
• Unified moderation for multiple types of content, such as video, photo, audio, account, etc.
• The reviewed content materials, such as photo and text, will include explicit content.
• Multi-layer of policy guidelines to judge the risk type of the content.
• Identify and escalat*e issues and trends related to the content reviewed.
• Ensure that content review is completed with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Continuously work towards improving the quality of the content review process through feedback and process optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest guidelines and standards, as well as new market trends and technologies.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team lead.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 1+ year of relevant work experience in data labeling, AI or Machine Learning tasks and projects.
• Language Skills:
• Fluent in English (at least B2 level).
• At least B2 level English

Technical Skills:

• Experience working with content review tools and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Other Skills:
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of quality.
• Ability to follow a set of detailed guidelines and SOPs.

Hours of Operation:

• This role requires a commitment of 8 working hours per day within the stated hours.
• Fixed Monday to Friday schedule
• Candidates are expected to adhere to a fixed, pre-approved schedule to ensure consistency and alignment with operational requirements.
