Job summary

The Actuarial IFRS 17 Reporting team at Prudential Indonesia invites applications for a role supporting the IFRS 17 Lead by delivering financials and MI reports. The candidate will work with IFRS 17 Accounting and IT teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Key duties include analytical review of results, bridging outputs to the Business Plan and forecasts, supporting IFRS 17 audits, and collaborating with the IFRS 17 Solution and Technical teams to address defects.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant life insurance actuarial or financial reporting experience.
• Good actuarial exam progress; Associate or Qualified Actuaries preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical skills; proficient in Excel VBA; familiar with Prophet/Axis and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Produce financials and MI reports under IFRS 17 with IFRS 17 Accounting and IT teams.
• Perform analytical review of financial and MI results for senior stakeholders.
• Bridge results against Business Plan, Forecast, and other reporting bases (EEV/ECap).
• Support IFRS 17 audit by providing explanations and evidences.
• Identify and address defects with IFRS 17 Solution and Technical teams.

Responsibilities

The role holder will be required to assist the Actuarial IFRS 17 Reporting Lead by working independently and collaborate with other IFRS 17 functions to:

• Produce financials and MI reports under IFRS 17 in cooperation with IFRS 17 Accounting and IT teams.
• Perform analytical review of financial and MI results to provide comfort to Head of Actuarial IFRS 17, Head of IFRS 17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
• Perform bridging of financial and MI results against Business Plan, Forecast, and other reporting basis (e.g. EEV or Ecap) to provide comfort to Head of Actuarial IFRS 17, Head of IFRS 17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
• Support the engagement on IFRS 17 audit by providing necessary explanations and evidences required.
• Identify and address defects in the reporting solutions and methodology in collaboration with IFRS 17 Solution team and IFRS 17 Technical team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in actuarial or financial reporting roles
• Good actuarial exam progress from recognized international actuarial association; Associate or Qualified Actuaries (ASAI, ASA, AIA, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Good analytical and technical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with strong skills in Excel and VBA. Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet or Axis, and familiarity with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
