Job summary

Amartha in Tangerang, Indonesia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This on-site role focuses on managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring timely collection to maintain cash flow.

You will collaborate with colleagues across departments, maintain accurate records in our ERP, and uphold company credit policies while providing excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, credit policies and collection techniques.
• Highly accurate data entry with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Apply payments to customer accounts in the accounting system.
• Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments and delays.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances by phone and email.
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and maintain aging reports and analyze AR aging.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to AR.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers regarding their accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
