Job summary

Sephora is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant in the Southeast Asia region to ensure accurate and timely collection of revenue. You will support sales integration, invoicing, AR aging, and data accuracy under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting, at least two years in accounting, SAP experience, and strong English and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, teams, and management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with a large ERP system; SAP preferred.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, solution-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales integration checks and follow-up to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with sub-bank clearing operations and ensure timely reconciliation of transactions.
• Create invoices and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in month-end closing and reconcile AR-related accounts; prepare financial reports.
• Maintain accurate customer master data in the ERP system.
• Clear incoming payments and reconcile with outstanding invoices; ensure regulatory and policy compliance.

Accounts Receivable Accountant

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection of revenue. This role involves assisting with sales integration tasks, sub-bank clearing, invoice creation, monitoring AR aging, and ensuring accurate customer data under supervision.
