Hoko Sdn Bhd seeks an Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager to lead financial controls, tax compliance and reporting in Batam, Indonesia. You will manage cash flow, tax planning, forex exposure and financial operations to support decision making in a refinery/oleochemical context.
The role requires 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience, Professional credentials such as CPA/CA, and a strong knowledge of Indonesian regulations. Based full-time in Batam, Indonesia.
Implement financial & internal controls and performs reviews that include monitoring the cashflow, inventory turns and credit control;
Monitor closely the daily production and sales report
Establish work-flow processes and finance procedures to cater according to company business needs.
Ensure compliance with Indonesia tax regulations and corporate tax requirements
Analyzing and preparing consolidated credit facilities usage against interest.
Closely monitor Forex rate movement so that higher Forex conversion rate can be fixed.
Prepare cash utilization analysis – cash from investments, cash from operations and cash from financing.
Ensure monthly withholding Tax treatment, payment and reporting can be done on time and complied in accordance with respective Acts and regulations.
Liaise and gather information from all banks on bank instruments available whenever new government policy (exp; restriction on collection from export) is implemented
Handle all corporate Taxation matters by liaising with Tax agent and auditors
To plan and discuss with Tax consultant on strategy and solution to tax related issue
Ensure monthly and yearly online reporting for Foreign Investing Company be done promptly and complied with Indonesia Act and Regulation
Requirements: -
Bachelor’s degree (Strata 1 / S1) in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline.
7 to 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in an executive or managerial position.
Professional credentials such as a CPA Indonesia or the CA (Chartered Accountant) designation administered by the Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia/ Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Well versed in Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and local tax regulations (Pajak / e-Faktur/PPh/PPN).
Industry-Specific Experience – Refinery and Oleochemical Industry.
Full time position based in Batam, Indonesia.
