Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya (AMJ) is seeking an experienced accounting and finance supervisor in Indonesia. You will supervise junior staff, ensure timely transaction recording, and maintain robust records and controls within the mining sector.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, 2-5 years of experience, strong Excel and ERP (SAP) skills, and fluency in Indonesian and English. You will support month-end close and collaborate with operations to resolve financial issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, or related role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor junior staff.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate junior accounting and finance staff.
• Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
• Monitor compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and analyses for management review.
• Maintain and organise financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and elevate to senior management.
• Provide training and guidance on accounting procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Liaise between accounting and operations to resolve issues.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls.
