Job summary

Morning Light Enterprises Limited seeks a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our Semarang team. You will oversee daily accounting operations, manage GL, AP, AR, and cash, and drive timely month-end and year-end closings.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, ensuring Indonesian compliance, coordinating with external auditors, and handling tax incentive applications. Strong Excel/ERP skills and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; Chinese also acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger management.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed asset accounting.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of all financial transactions and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and follow up on tax incentive applications, such as Tax Allowance, Investment Allowance, and other relevant incentives.
• Maintain strong internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors to complete the annual audit.
