PT Geomineral Inti Perkasa is seeking a supervisory-level accountant in Jakarta to oversee site financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The role requires Mandarin fluency to communicate with Chinese expatriate management and to lead the accounting team through month-end and year-end close.

Responsibilities include consolidating statements, managing GL reconciliations, and aligning Indonesian procedures with the China Holding company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial accounting role.
• Mining industry experience preferred.

This is a supervisory or managerial level accounting position responsible for overseeing financial operations at a site level, with a focus on accurate financial reporting, accounting close processes, and team leadership. The role requires fluency in Mandarin to communicate financial data with Chinese expatriate management.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and consolidation of accurate, timely monthly and annual financial statements and present these clearly to Chinese expatriate management using Mandarin

Lead and ensure the accurate execution of the month-end and year-end accounting close processes within established corporate deadlines

Supervise daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, inventory valuation, and intercompany transactions

Oversee the recording, depreciation, and physical verification of all company fixed assets and capital expenditures (CAPEX), ensuring alignment with mining operational data

Review and strengthen site accounting procedures and internal controls to mitigate financial risks, minimize discrepancies, and optimize workflow efficiency

Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team

Act as a strategic financial liaison between the site operations team, local administrative staff, and Top Management, bridging the language gap in financial discussions

Align Indonesian Accounting compliance and reporting with the China Holding company's reporting requirements, coordinating with Finance and headquarters to reconcile differences and ensure consistent reporting

About you

Highly fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) for reports, explaining financial data, and communicating with Chinese expatriate management on a daily basis

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting or related field

Minimum 3-5 years at a supervisory or managerial level, with experience in mining preferred

Hands-on experience in managing full-cycle accounting, month-end/year-end closing processes, General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, and fixed asset management

Proficient in operating ERP/accounting systems

Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail

Proven track record of leading and mentoring accounting teams

Experience coordinating with external and internal auditors, ensuring all accounting procedures comply with corporate policies and local regulations.

Good communication in Mandarin (both spoken and written) to coordinate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders or management
