Job summary

PT Surya Dharmagati, an Indonesian brand Carvil, is seeking an accounting assistant to support timely and accurate financial recording in line with SOPs, PSAK, and authorities. The role focuses on AP/AR reconciliation, GL analysis, and monthly close activities within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and good communication across levels. Work location is Jakarta Utara with standard on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• Knowledge in accountancy and taxation is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Account Payable and Account Receivable data reconciliation.

• Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results.
• Support monthly and annual financial closings.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and provide responsive support.

• Create e-invoices, VAT returns, and reports.

You are responsible for supporting Accounting to ensure all the financial information and accounting activities is being recorded and completed timely in a meaningful and accurate manner, according to company SOP, PSAK, and Authority regulations.

Accountabilities

• Account Payable and Account Receivable Data reconciliation
• General Ledger account analysis with cause of change explanation
• Monthly tax preparation (reconciliation and analysis)
• Gather financial data and ledgers

• Proactively supporting on the monthly and annual financial closing
• Reactive supports and ad-hoc request
• Prepare and report Annual SPT
• Create e-invoices, VAT returns and reports

Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from reputable university
• Have knowledge in Accountancy and Taxation
• 1 to 2 years experiences in a similar role are preferable
