Job summary

SKINTIFIC in Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting activities from our Jakarta office. You will handle journal entries, closing processes, and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting, at least 2 years in retail or e-commerce accounting, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. Immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or related field.
• Min. 2 years relevant working experience, preferably with retail or e-commerce background.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and experience working within full cycle of the closing process.
• Good understanding of basic taxation knowledge.
• Ability to gather data logically and accurately.
• Possess a can-do attitude, attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Experience working with general ledger system.
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily and/or weekly journal entries.
• Involve in monthly financial closing process, including all journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• Review the completion and compliance of all supporting documents.
• Participate in the ongoing development of accounting system and policies.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure data preparation and compliance.
• Collaborate with other team for inquiry and data gathering.
• Perform other related duties as required.
