Job summary

PermataBank is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support daily financial control tasks, GL monitoring, and reporting to regulators and internal stakeholders. You will assist in month-end closings, reconcile accounts, and coordinate with various units to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and prior public accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency with Excel/Word/Access and a solid understanding of accounting processes are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) is preferred.
• Strong data handling and Excel/Word/Access skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of accounting processes from recording transactions to financial reporting and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks related to financial control functions, including monitoring General Ledger (GL) and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Understand and execute the month-end closing process within the specified timeline at the beginning of each month.
• Process and submit financial reports and PermataBank financial data to Regulatory Authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct reconciliation processes for assigned GL accounts, prepare reports, analyze discrepancies, and follow up when necessary.
• Coordinate with other units/departments in the reporting process.
• Provide financial data requests, including preparing data for internal and external audits, as well as handling other ad-hoc assignments.
• Maintain proper and well-organized administration of reports, accounting documents, and other related records.

Job Description

• Understand and execute the month-end closing process within the specified timeline at the beginning of each month.
• Process and submit financial reports and PermataBank financial data to Regulatory Authorities and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Conduct reconciliation processes for assigned GL accounts, prepare reports, analyze discrepancies, and follow up when necessary.
• Coordinate with other units/departments in the reporting process.
• Provide financial data requests, including preparing data for internal and external audits, as well as handling other ad-hoc assignments.
• Maintain proper and well-organized administration of reports, accounting documents, and other related records.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Prior working experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) is preferred.
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail, focus, and the ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
• Proficient in handling large volumes of data using supporting applications, at minimum Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access/Query.
• Preferably has a good understanding of accounting process flows, from recording transactions to financial reporting.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to working in accordance with Accounting and Reporting standards
