Job summary

PT Pharos Indonesia seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting tax operations, monitor data, prepare financial reports, and enforce proper policies and principles.

You will coordinate annual audits, liaise with tax teams, and drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
• Proven experience in supervisory roles with accounting teams.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting tax department.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations and improve systems and procedures
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives and maintain fiscal records
• Act as key contact with corporate tax team for tax audits and interactions
• Make tax analysis, planning and strategy
• Ensure validity of financial transactions and taxes, and apply regulations
• Preferably have Tax Brevet A, B and C

Job description

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Act as key contact person to liaise with corporate tax team for tax audit/customs audit and other interactions related to tax, to minimize tax audit findings (annual basis),
• Make tax analysis, planning and strategy,
• Ensuring the validity of financial transactions and corporate taxes.
• Ensuring the application of tax and financial regulations in the company,
• Preferably have Tax Brevet A, B and C

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor (a minimum 5 years in supervisory level)
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
