Job summary

Tías Villas, a boutique hospitality brand in Kuta Lombok operating 25 villas and 10 bungalows, is seeking an Accountant to join our in-house team and strengthen financial operations. You will manage day-to-day finance across revenue, cash, payables, receivables, and reporting, collaborating with front office and management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in operational finance, strong Excel, and experience with Xero or Jurnal.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operational finance experience.
• Background in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with PMS/POS and accounting software (Xero/Jurnal).
• Ability to work under deadlines and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Daily Revenue & Cash Operations: reconcile revenue, postings, and cash logs.
• Accounts Receivable & Credit Control: coordinate billing with OTAs and travel partners.
• Accounts Payable & Purchasing: process invoices, prepare bank transactions, manage cost allocation.
• General Ledger & Month-End: maintain GL, accruements, month-end closing, management reports.

Job description

At Tías Villas, we build and operate design-driven villas with a strong focus on guest experience, quality, and long-term value.

We are a growing boutique hospitality brand in Kuta Lombok with 25 villas and 10 bungalows (50+ rooms), combining tropical design with structured, professional operations.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for an Accountant to join our in-house team and help us keep our financial operations clean, structured, and reliable.

Your Role

You will support the day-to-day finance operations across revenue, cash, payables, receivables, and reporting.

This role sits at the intersection of operations and finance, working closely with front office, management, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Revenue & Cash Operations

• Perform daily revenue checks and postings (room revenue, credits)
• Reconcile POS and PMS reports (e.g. Cloudbeds) and investigate variances
• Verify and post daily payments (cash, credit card, bank transfer, online channels)
• Prepare daily cash-ups and maintain cash control logs
• Reconcile credit card settlements and follow up on disputes

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Control

• Coordinate with OTAs and travel agents on billing, commissions, and statements

Accounts Payable (AP) & Purchasing

• Process supplier invoices (PO / GRN / invoice matching)
• Prepare bank transactions
• Ensure correct coding, cost center allocation, and approvals
• Prepare weekly payment runs and manage supplier communication
• Track recurring expenses (rent, utilities, subscriptions, contracts)

General Ledger & Month-End

• Maintain accurate GL postings and documentation
• Prepare accruals and prepayments
• Support month-end closing and reconciliations (bank, cash, AR, AP, deposits)
• Assist with management reports (P&L, revenue summaries, cost analysis)
• Prepare monthly owner statements

Controls & Compliance

• Maintain internal controls for cash, refunds, discounts, and complimentary items
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local tax requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years experience in operational finance
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with systems like PMS, POS, Xero or Jurnal
• Structured, reliable, and able to work under deadlines
• Good communication and ability to work across teams
