Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group in Singapore with a global footprint is seeking an Accountant (Global GRN) to manage purchase-related accounting, prepare journal entries, and maintain the general ledger with accuracy. This role requires precision and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

You will assist month-end close, support financial reporting for small entities, ensure proper filing and document retention for audits, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain purchase-related accounting transactions and supporting documents accurately and timely.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Support the preparation of financial statements for small-sized entities (training will be provided).
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record retention for audit and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial issues.
