Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an experienced Account Manager - Plantation to build and manage relationships with oil palm plantations and support product trials in crop protection and crop nutrition across Sumatra and Kalimantan.
You will coordinate field trials, work with plantation teams, present trial proposals, and report findings to drive business development while traveling regularly to plantation sites in Indonesia.
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager - Plantation to develop and manage relationships with oil palm plantations and support the implementation of product trials in the areas of crop protection and crop nutrition.
The successful candidate will understand plantation operations, decision-making processes, and working practices, and will have established relationships with key stakeholders across oil palm plantations in Sumatra and/or Kalimantan.
Identify opportunities for product trials involving crop protection and crop nutrition products.
Coordinate and manage field trials from planning through implementation, monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
Work closely with plantation teams to understand operational needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
Present product information, technical benefits, and trial proposals to plantation customers.
Monitor trial performance and collect relevant field data, observations, and feedback.
Prepare regular reports on trial progress, customer feedback, market opportunities, and business development activities.
Support the development of commercial strategies for plantation customers.
Coordinate with internal technical, sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure successful trial execution.
Follow up on trial results and support the conversion of successful trials into commercial opportunities.
Travel regularly to plantations and customer sites across Sumatra and, when required, other regions in Indonesia.
Stay informed about developments, challenges, and trends in the oil palm plantation industry.
Minimum5 years of professional experience working with oil palm plantations, preferably in Sumatra or Kalimantan.
A degree or diploma in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Science, Agribusiness, or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of plantation operations, agronomy, and field management practices.
Experience with, or knowledge of,crop protection and/or crop nutrition products.
Existing network and strong professional relationships within the oil palm plantation industry.
Proven ability to manage product trials, field demonstrations, or technical-commercial projects.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Commercially driven, proactive, and able to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel frequently to plantation locations.
Based inSumatra.
Proficiency in English is an advantage.
