Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking an Academic Operations professional to lead teacher development and curriculum design across our education-focused centers in Jakarta. You will mentor teachers, design training programs, and monitor engagement to boost retention and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 4-7 years of experience including people development, and strong data literacy. You will collaborate with Curriculum and Student Specialist teams to deliver data-driven insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed (required).
• 4-7 years of experience, with 2-3 years in a role combining teaching with people development (not pure classroom teaching).
• Experience as a senior teacher, headmaster, or academic coordinator who has mentored/evaluated other teachers.
• Experience designing training curriculum end-to-end from scratch.
• Data literacy with ability to turn survey data into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop teachers through 1-on-1 mentoring, performance evaluations, calibration sessions, and tracking progress.
• Design end-to-end training programs covering classroom management, student behavior, and developmental strategies.
• Monitor teacher engagement by analyzing NPS feedback and creating action plans to improve happiness and retention.
• Manage class operations including scheduling, slot issues, and daily operations.
• Collaborate with Curriculum and Student Specialist teams to provide data-driven insights to management.

Your Day-to-Day

• Coach & develop teachers – Provide 1-on-1 mentoring, conduct performance evaluations, lead calibration sessions, and track teacher improvement progress
• Design training programs – Build end-to-end teacher training from scratch, covering classroom management, student behavior, and developmental strategies
• Monitor teacher engagement – Analyze NPS feedback to identify trends and create action plans that improve teacher happiness and retention
• Manage class operations – Oversee scheduling, resolve slot issues, and ensure smooth daily operations
• Collaborate & report – Work with Curriculum and Student Specialist teams, and provide data-driven insights to management

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Educational Psychology, or HR Development
• 4-7 years experience, with 2-3 years in a role combining teaching with people development (not pure classroom teaching)
• Prior experience as a senior teacher, headmaster, or academic coordinator who has mentored/evaluated other teachers
• Experience designing training curriculum end-to-end from scratch
• Data literacy – able to turn survey data into actionable plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, coaching, and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
