Job summary

LMN Studio in Jakarta seeks a seasoned 3D Environment Lead to guide the modeling team through a fast-paced production cycle, establishing standards and delivering high-quality assets.

You will review work, ensure topology and UV cleanliness, and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve production challenges while mentoring artists and driving workflow improvements. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in 3D modeling.
  • Strong subdivision modeling and efficient topology for character and hard‑surface assets.
  • Expert in ZBrush (organic + hard‑surface), plus production‑ready topology, UVs, and clean assets.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter.
  • Solid artistic foundation with excellent understanding of form, proportion, scale, and silhouette.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to faithfully translate 2D designs or reference materials into 3D assets. Paint‑over skills are a huge plus.
  • Understanding of production pipelines and interdepartmental workflows.
  • Basic knowledge in Lighting and Compositing for seamless hand‑offs.
  • Experience leading teams or mentoring artists in a production setting is a plus.
