Job summary

PT Star Perkasa Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build reliable, observable systems across on-site and cloud environments. You will own deployment lifecycles for backend services in Go and Node/TypeScript, and manage frontend deployments through structured CI/CD pipelines.

You will operate a hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premise servers and cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure), ensure data-layer health (PostgreSQL + PostGIS, ClickHouse, Redis), and strengthen the observability stack

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Go and Node/TypeScript.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and hybrid on-prem/cloud setups.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment lifecycle for backend services and frontend apps.

Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, observable, and resilient systems across both on-site and cloud environments.

In this role, you will own the deployment lifecycle for our backend services built with Go and Node/TypeScript, as well as our frontend applications, through well-structured CI/CD pipelines. You will manage a hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premise servers and virtual machines at our operational sites alongside cloud services on GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will also be responsible for the health of our data layer, including PostgreSQL with PostGIS, ClickHouse, and Redis, ensuring that every backup, restore, and migration is carried out safely and reliably.

Beyond keeping systems running, you will strengthen our observability stack using Grafana, Loki, and Alloy, building meaningful dashboards and alerts that help the team detect and resolve issues before they affect users. When incidents occur, you will lead the response, identify root causes, and document clear post-mortems and runbooks so the team continuously learns and improves.
