Job summary

PT Bibit Tumbuh Bersama in Jakarta is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to own server-side logic and API development, aligning features with front-end platforms and exploring new technologies to improve the system.

You will collaborate with Product, QA and UI teams to deliver features, optimize performance, and uphold security and data protection. A 1–2 year software development background and willingness to learn Go, Java, Python or C++ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 year experience in software development.
• Internship or project experience in backend development is a plus.
• Active involvement in Competitions or Olimpiades is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Willing to learn at least one programming language: Go, C++, Java, or Python.
• Proficiency in GitLab or GitHub.
• Self-motivated, passionate, and committed to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong self-management abilities, especially in meeting project timelines and milestones.

In this position, you will use your programming skills and tools to analyze and translate business/feature requirements into well-structured, efficient, scalable software. You will also be actively involved in researching new technologies/tools that can be incorporated to improve the current system.
