Job summary

Hitachi Rail Hong Kong seeks a skilled technician to join the Customer Service Team of the Revenue Collection System (RCS). You will perform workshop maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, test, and report on equipment and systems.

The role requires a Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering, knowledge of electronics repair, computer and network configuration, and strong teamwork, languages Cantonese and English. You will contribute to process improvements and training.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• Electronics repair down to component level.
• Computer systems and network switch setup and configuration.
• Good leadership and teamwork.
• Good communication and service attitude.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform workshop maintenance including troubleshooting, repairing, testing and reporting.
• Investigate technical problems and provide solutions.
• Train technicians and junior staff.
• Develop and revise Work Instructions.
• Improve workshop processes.

Job Description:

The role

This position is to contribute the below activities to the Customer Service Team of Revenue Collection System (RCS) which is now serving major transport operators of Hong Kong. These activities include, and not limited to: repair and maintenance, technical investigation, problem resolution, training, work instruction and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform workshop maintenance activities which include trouble shooting, repairing, testing and reporting
• Investigate technical problems and provide solutions
• Training of technicians and junior technicians
• Development and revision of Work Instruction
• Improve the process of workshop activities

Requirements

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical)
• Electronics repair down to component level
• Computer system and network switch set up and configuration
• Good leadership skills with teamwork experiences
• Good communication skill and service attitude
• Good command of Cantonese and English
