Job summary

Swing Consulting Limited seeks a Windows Systems Specialist to maintain and upgrade large-scale Windows servers and RDS Farm, while monitoring availability and performance. You will implement OS hardening via Group Policy, apply CIS benchmarks, and address issues arising from security hardening.

The role requires 5+ years in IT, proficiency with monitoring and ticketing tools, and strong English/Chinese communication. HK-based, 5-day week, salary 40-55K depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in IT/CS or related field.
• At least 5 years’ IT experience.
• Hands-on experience in supporting Windows server.
• Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds NPM, NNMi, PRTG).
• Familiar with ticketing systems (BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, OpenText SMAX).
• Familiar with ITIL processes and large-scale projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade large-scale Windows servers, RDS Farm and availability monitoring system.
• Perform system configuration changes, patching and enhancements.
• Implement security policies using Windows Group Policy Object for OS hardening, user disk quotas and RDS function lockdown.
• Apply CIS Windows server benchmarks.
• Resolve hardening induced operating issues.
