Job summary

Swing Consulting Ltd. seeks a Technical Support Engineer (Windows Server) to provide 1st tier support for server farms and virtual machines, perform health checks, patches, and fault handling, and coordinate with vendor support.

The role requires a diploma in IT and bilingual Chinese/English. You will handle on-site visits during office hours and on-call support outside hours, work with Avaya, NICE Engage, and Oracle Siebel, and collaborate with network teams as needed to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in contact center system development and/or support.
• Experience with health checks and patching for Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Avaya, NICE Engage, and Oracle Siebel.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work overtime when necessary.
• Good communication in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Voice: install, setup and fault handling for voice support as needed.
• Server: 1st tier support for physical servers and virtual machines.
• System: handle fault reporting and coordinate with vendor/system support.
• Service requests: manage user requests such as apps implementation and testing.
• Patch management: apply patches, reboot production and UAT servers.
• Network: 1st tier support and liaise with network teams.
• On-site and on-call support during office hours and outside of office hours.
