Job summary

Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations for medical consumables, PPE and critical inventory. You will maintain stock records, lead regular reconciliations and coordinate distribution within the hospital.

The role requires 5+ years in a healthcare inventory setting, strong Excel skills (VBA/macros a plus), ERP/WMS experience, and Cantonese-English bilingual proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' hospital/healthcare inventory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or Business Administration.
• Advanced Excel; Excel VBA/macros/automation knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiar with barcode-driven inventory control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese); Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely supply delivery to end users.
• Supervise, train and mentor warehouse staff complying with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Support departmental projects to optimize warehouse procedures and systems.
• Maintain appropriate environmental conditions for storage.

Job description

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and distribution of medical consumables, PPE, and other critical inventory to other parts of the hospital

Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, stock records, and lead regular reconciliation processes

Plan and execute regular stocktaking and cycle counts to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and accountability

Identify, propose, and implement workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and minimize stock discrepancies

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate supply delivery to end users

Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring strict compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Support departmental projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing warehouse procedures and systems

Maintain and record the appropriate environmental conditions for storage

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a hospital, healthcare, or medical supplies environment

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Excel VBA or macros or automation is a plus

Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems

Familiarity with barcode systems and barcode-based inventory control is a strong advantage

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to process improvement and service quality

Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese); Mandarin is an advantage
