Job summary

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Waiter/Waitress for Café Malacca in Hong Kong to deliver exceptional dining experiences with timely, courteous service. You will support order taking, food and beverage delivery, and guest engagement in a bustling café setting.

We welcome candidates with at least 1 year in hotel or F&B service, strong English and Chinese communication, and a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Hotel or F&B Service Industry.
• Customer-oriented team player.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the assigned work section and uphold restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the section before and after service according to hotel standards.
• Assist with order taking, provide recommendations and information on promotions, and deliver food and beverages.
• Gather guest feedback for continuous improvement of service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

About The Role

As a Waiter / Waitress – Café Malacca (侍應生), you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely, courteous and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the assigned work section and uphold restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the section before and after service according to Hotel standard.
• Assist with order taking, providing recommendations and information on the latest promotions, as well as delivering food and beverages.
• Gather guest feedback for continuous improvement of service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
