Job summary

OCBC Hong Kong invites applications for a role to support the Head of Investment Products and Distribution, implementing fund product strategies and growing the bank’s investment fund business across strategy, due diligence, governance and platform development.

The role partners with Sales, Frontlines, Investment Solutions, Operations, Risk and Compliance to ensure robust product governance and a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, covering strategy, development, due diligence and distribution.
• Strong fund expertise and market knowledge across major asset classes and fund houses.
• Solid understanding of HKMA/SFC requirements and ongoing product governance.
• Transformation-oriented and able to leverage digital platforms while maintaining robust controls.
• Collaborative team player across functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Investment products and Distribution to implement fund product strategies.
• Grow the Bank’s investment fund business including platform development and governance.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to Sales, Frontlines, Investment Solutions, Operations, Risk and Compliance.
• Oversee vendor and fund house relationships.
• Drive platform & digital transformation initiatives.

Role Overview

Support the Head of Investment products and Distribution, to implement the Investment Fund product strategies, and growing the Bank’s investment fund business, covering fund product strategy, product due diligence, platform development, sales support and ongoing product governance. The role serves as the key subject matter expert and strategic partner to Sales & Distribution, Frontlines, Investment Solutions team, Operations team, Risk and Compliance.

What we are looking for

• University graduate in Finance, Business, Economics or related disciplines; with CFA definite advantage
• 8+ year relevant experiences with strong end-to-end experience in investment funds, covering product strategy, product development, due diligence, governance and distribution
• Strong fund expertise and market knowledge across major asset classes, fund houses, and investment themes, with the ability to translate market opportunities into relevant product propositions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing investment fund revenue, AUM and product penetration across target client segment.
• Solid understanding of HKMA/SFC requirement, product governance, suitability, and ongoing monitoring.
• A transformation-oriented individual who can streamline fund processes, leverage digital platforms and improve client and RM experience while maintaining robust controls.
• A collaborative and strong team player who build effective relationships across functions.
