Job summary

Santander Hong Kong is seeking a highly motivated institutional sales professional to support the growth of our institutional fixed income franchise in Hong Kong. The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with HK-based institutional investors and promoting the firm’s fixed income capabilities.

Responsibilities include servicing clients, providing market insights, distributing fixed income products, and collaborating with Trading, Legal, and Compliance to achieve business results.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Global Markets, Fixed Income or Institutional Sales ( VP level for more experienced candidates).
• Solid knowledge of global markets, especially FX, rates and credit.
• Established relationships with HK-based institutional investors are advantageous.
• Strong client management, communication and business development skills.
• Regulatory awareness and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with HK-based institutional investors.
• Promote the firm’s fixed income capabilities to clients.
• Provide timely market insights and updates aligned with client objectives.
• Collaborate with Trading, Structuring, Legal, Compliance and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk controls.
