Job summary

Solactive AG is hiring for a role focused on managing thematic equity indices and meeting client needs across Asia. The position requires a strong quantitative background, experience in equity markets or index maintenance, and excellent communication to translate complex index concepts into actionable insights.

You will work in a fast-paced, international environment with opportunities to travel to Solactive's global offices. Proficiency in Python is required; VBA/MATLAB/SQL are assets.

Qualifications

• Academic background in finance/engineering-related field.
• Experience with equity markets, derivatives, or index maintenance.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of thematic equity indices.
• Execute systematic, rules-based selection and rebalancing of indices.
• Conduct research on thematic investment trends and apply quantitative methods.
• Act as a key contact for international clients (Asia focus).
• Enhance and maintain index algorithms within the framework.
• Identify and implement process improvements in index operations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts and developers.
