Job summary

Solactive AG in Hong Kong invites a motivated enrolled student to join our Institutional Sales Team as an internship. You will contribute to daily activities, perform quantitative analyses, handle inquiries, and support new business development in domestic and overseas markets.

You should be studying finance/economics with a passion for capital markets, and you should have strong English skills; knowledge of Japanese/Chinese/Korean is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student in finance, engineering, economics or related degree.
• Interest in capital markets and financial subjects.
• Excellent English communication; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily Institutional Sales Team activities.
• Create quantitative and market analyses; prepare presentations and factsheets.
• Handle customer inquiries and assist in acquiring new clients abroad.

Your Tasks

• Taking part in the daily business of the Institutional Sales Team
• Making quantitative and thematic market, trend and comparative analyses
• Working on all relevant customer enquiries
• Be actively involved in the acquisition of new domestic and overseas customers
• Preparing presentations and factsheets
• Summarizing meeting notes
• Participating in creating and maintaining of databases

Your Profile

• Enrolled student in the field of finance, engineering, economics or related degree
• Interest in capital markets
• Previous practical experiences (e.g. internships) in the financial market would be a plus
• Competent in handling of MS-Office applications (in particular Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Structured, independent and precise working style
• Proactive, creative and solution-oriented way of thinking
• High level of motivation and strong communication skills
• Very good command of English
• Japanese, Chinese or Korean knowledge is a plus
• Can work under pressure
• You are ideally available for at least 6 months
