Job summary

CMB International Capital Corporation Limited is seeking a Vice President, ECM to drive equity capital markets activity, manage client relationships and lead complex transactions from Central, HK. The candidate should have extensive ECM experience, a track record in executing deals, and advanced financial modelling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equity capital markets, investment banking or corporate finance with transaction experience.
• Strong knowledge of ECM products, processes and market dynamics.
• Proven client relationship management and business development track record.
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills; strong financial statement analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Robust project management; ability to handle multiple transactions concurrently.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong and Greater China markets preferred; CFA/MBA advantageous.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with teamwork and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage execution of IPOs, secondary offerings and other equity-linked financing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and corporate clients.
• Prepare pitch books, financial models and transaction documents.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Coordinate with trading, research, operations and compliance for smooth execution.
• Support senior management in business development and new client acquisition.
• Assist in structuring and pricing offerings to optimise outcomes.
• Ensure transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability building.
