Job summary

Burford Capital is seeking a Vice President to lead Business Development Operations across Asia, including China and Hong Kong, based in Hong Kong. You will drive CRM adoption, design dashboards and reporting, and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with senior leadership.

The role requires strong BD operations experience in finance or professional services, fluency in English and Mandarin, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Development Operations or similar in law or professional services.
• Experience managing Salesforce as a central BD tool.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Operational driver of BD activity across Asia (China incl. HK).
• Coordinate external engagement, client outreach and follow‑ups.
• Maintain and optimise CRM platforms; ensure data integrity and adoption.
• Track BD interactions and pipeline; ensure timely reporting.
• Design and manage dashboards, reports and attribution models.
• Liaise between BD, Underwriting, Marketing and other stakeholders.
