Job summary

NCS is a leading AI Tech Services company with a large APAC presence. We are seeking a DevOps/SRE professional to design, secure, and operate scalable distributed systems.

You will implement containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, manage CI/CD pipelines via GitLab, and work with big data tools such as Elasticsearch and Kafka. The role involves automation with Python/Bash/PowerShell and close collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven experience hardening Linux based Operating systems in production environments, including but not limited to Red Hat, Ubuntu,

Responsibilities

• Microservices Architecture: Develop and manage microservices to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Containerization & Kubernetes: Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s).
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Big Data: Familiarity with big data technology such as Elasticsearch, Kafka.
• Python & Bash Scripting: Write and maintain Python, Bash script or PowerShell script for automation, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Proactively monitor systems, perform root cause analysis, and ensure the reliability of the platform.
• Hardening: Hardening of OS and applications according to CIS requirements including but not limited to RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Kubernetes, docker etc.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to collaborate on any tasks when required.
