Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and implement models using Python and leading frameworks. You will handle both NLP and computer vision tasks, build robust data pipelines, and apply state-of-the-art techniques to robotics and autonomous systems.

The role emphasizes deployment into production with Docker/Kubernetes and REST APIs, collaboration with product teams, and continual experimentation to improve model accuracy. A strong foundation in ML and robotics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/DS or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ML/AI.
• Strong Python mastery and ML libraries (scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas).
• Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of deployment/serving tech (Docker, REST APIs, ONNX).
• Solid data preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation knowledge.
• Experience in robotics AI apps (perception, motion planning, autonomous systems, vision).
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2, SLAM, LiDAR/camera sensors, autonomous navigation, robotic simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML models using Python and modern frameworks.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to build intelligent systems.
• Develop models for NLP, computer vision, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, and RL.
• Deploy AI models into production using FastAPI, Flask, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI modules.
• Run experiments, evaluate model performance, and improve models with statistical methods.
• Research state-of-the-art AI algorithms and stay updated on AI advancements.
• Ensure ethical, explainable, and responsible AI development.
• Develop AI solutions for robotics, including robotics perception and navigation.
• Work with ROS/ROS2, SLAM, LiDAR, autonomous navigation, robotics simulation.
