Job summary

Odoo is seeking a Video Content Creator for the APAC region to own end-to-end video projects, from planning to delivery. You will work with regional marketers to tailor content for diverse APAC markets and support live streams and events.

Ideal candidates have a strong portfolio, fluency in English and Cantonese, and advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator. This on-site role offers creative ownership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Video Content Creator who genuinely loves the entire production process—from the initial whiteboard brainstorm to hitting render on a final polished edit. If you know how to translate complex technical concepts into clear, visually engaging stories and want to work in a collaborative, practical environment, you will fit right in.

As part of the Odoo APAC marketing team, you will own a diverse mix of video projects, including customer testimonials, product tutorials, employer branding content, and localized features. This role gives you true creative ownership to pitch fresh ideas and collaborate directly with regional marketers across various APAC markets.

Your tasks include but are not limited to:

• Production & Editing
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the complete production pipeline (studio setup, filming, audio recording, editing, and delivery) for product-focused content, testimonials, and marketing campaigns
  • Cross-Market Collaboration: Partner with regional marketing teams and multi-lingual speakers to ensure content is accurately tailored and optimized for different APAC markets
  • Live-Streaming Support: Provide technical and operational support for webinar live streams and virtual events
  • Project Management: Independently manage your editing timelines, communicate transparently with internal stakeholders, and maintain an organized asset archive
• Additional Tasks
  • Stay on top of industry trends, and naturally add new editing techniques and formats to Odoo’s channels
  • Assist with in-house photo retouching for presentations, events, and advertising materials as needed

MUST HAVE

• Education & Language: Bachelor’s degree or higher, with professional fluency in English & Cantonese
• Software Mastery: Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is a MUST, paired with working knowledge of After Effects and Illustrator
• Technical Gear Savvy: Proven experience with camera operation, studio/field lighting setups, and multi-mic audio recording
• Cultural Agility: Comfort working on video projects involving diverse languages and cultures, with the flexibility to travel overseas for APAC customer shoots
• Execution & Soft Skills: A strong portfolio showcasing narrative and technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently under deadlines

NICE TO HAVE

• Immediate availability to start
• Familiarity with live-streaming software (OBS, YouTube Live, etc.)
• Experience with 3D packages (Blender, Cinema4D, or Maya)
• Experience incorporating AI tools to optimize video editing workflows
• Experience in using generative AI visualization tools
