The Bank of East Asia, Limited seeks a Vice President in Linked Deposits & Quantitative Analysis to support structured products across the full lifecycle, from development to post-trade monitoring. You will craft investment ideas and solutions for retail banking and allied segments, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities include preparing offering documents, providing pricing quotes and execution support, tracking performance, and delivering management and regulatory reports.
Support the structured products business throughout the entire product lifecycle, including product development, regulatory approval or authorization, execution, and post-trade monitoring
Provide structured product ideas and investment solutions to support the retail banking business, while also providing support to other business segments as required
Prepare and maintain offering documents for structured products, including product brochures, term sheets, marketing materials, and related documentation
Provide timely and accurate pricing quotations and execution support for structured products transactions.
Monitor the performance of outstanding structured products, oversee daily operational processes, and prepare management and regulatory reports as required
Provide operational and quantitative analytical support to the Linked Deposits & Quantitative Analysis Section and undertake ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
Passed HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 and 8, or equivalent qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banking, securities, treasury, derivatives, structured products, or related financial services areas
Mature, professional, and presentable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer-centric mindset
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure
Knowledge of VBA, Python, or other quantitative analysis/programming tools will be an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus
(Candidates with less relevant working experience may be considered for the position of Senior Investment Associate)
