Job summary

Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced AVP Human Resources to lead governance, compliance and transformation initiatives that align with business objectives.

The role focuses on policy development, regulatory monitoring and stakeholder management, driving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness across the bank. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years in banking HR are required, with strong PM and analytics skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain HR policies and procedures, mitigate HR-related risk to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational needs.

• Manage HR projects and initiatives that support HR compliance, organisational change and business growth.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, consultants, and service providers, where required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of HR experience preferably in the banking and financial services sector, with solid experience in either (i) HR governance, compliance, policy development, regulatory monitoring and vendor management or (ii) organisational culture, employee engagement, change management, and transformation initiatives
• Strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in HR compliance monitoring for regulated roles, organisational development, or cultural transformation initiatives would be an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of AVP Human Resources.
