Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years management in upscale Chinese restaurants or luxury hotel dining.
• Strong understanding of authentic Chinese cuisine, service traditions, and cultural nuances.
• Proven track record in fine dining operations with leadership abilities.
• Solid business acumen with understanding of financial metrics and cost control.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English (Mandarin is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, opening/closing procedures, and health/safety compliance.
• Monitor service flow during peak/off-peak; adjust to optimize guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure menu execution meets quality and presentation.
• Maintain ambiance, cleanliness, and guest environment.
• Deliver exceptional, personalized service and build relationships with regular guests.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team; conduct regular training on standards and culture.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive work environment supporting teamwork and growth.
• Achieve revenue targets via cost control, upselling, and promotions.
• Monitor daily sales, covers, average spend; optimize revenue.
• Control food and beverage costs and inventory.
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with Director of F&B and other departments; liaise with events and partnerships.
