Job summary
Chubb European Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager to serve as the technical specialist for Consumer Lines, including Accident & Health, Travel, and Personal Lines. You will shape underwriting strategy and drive product innovation to support profitable growth.
You will lead portfolio monitoring, refresh existing products, and develop new offerings in collaboration with Business Development, Regional Underwriting, Claims, and Compliance to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Refresh existing products and develop new products in partnership with Business Development, Regional Underwriting, Claims, and Legal & Compliance.
- Underwrite new and renewal business in line with Underwriting Guidelines, Policies and Procedures, Underwriting Authority, and Risk Appetite.
- Monitor and manage the portfolio by extracting and analyzing results, identifying emerging trends and issues, and recommending actions to support desired outcomes.
- Review and improve processes related to referrals, product implementation, and portfolio management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
