CTF Life in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Head of Operations to oversee underwriting and service delivery. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive compliance, and optimize processes to meet regulatory requirements.

You will build high-performing teams, manage cross-functional projects, monitor KPIs, and partner with stakeholders to support business growth while maintaining quality and risk controls.

• Proven managerial experience leading teams in insurance, operations, underwriting, or new business.
• Strong track record in operational management and process improvement.
• Experience driving cross-functional projects and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the functional area to ensure high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Achieve business targets and optimize processes while strengthening risk controls.
• Maintain engagement with the BPO underwriting team and develop team capabilities.
• Organize and lead underwriting training and coach team members for succession planning.
• Lead the team to meet departmental objectives with productivity, accuracy and service quality.
• Monitor operations against service standards (TAT, accuracy, compliance) and escalate where needed.
• Review key decisions within delegated authority in line with policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the functional area to ensure high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Achieve business targets, optimize processes, strengthen risk controls, and develop team capabilities to support organizational goals
• Maintain engagement with the BPO underwriting team
• Organize and lead underwriting training for the team
• Lead and manage the team to achieve departmental objectives, ensuring productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
• Oversee daily operations and ensure delivery within defined service standards (e.g., TAT, accuracy, compliance)
• Review and approve key decisions within delegated authority, ensuring alignment with company policies and guidelines
• Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., distribution, compliance, operations, IT) to support business needs
• Provide coaching, training, and development to team members to build capability and succession pipeline
• Handle escalations and complex cases, providing guidance and resolution
• Support management reporting, audit requirements, and governance activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in insurance, operations, underwriting, or new business
• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role with team management responsibility
• Strong track record in operational management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects
• Strong leadership in building high-performing teams
