Job summary

HDI Global SE in Hong Kong is seeking a Contract Underwriting Assistant (Trainee) to provide administrative and operational support to underwriting teams, aligning CRM processes and ensuring governance.

You will learn insurance policy administration, CRM workflows, and contribute to dashboards and reports, while developing process documentation and supporting improvements; suitable for fresh graduates or those with basic insurance exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in General Insurance preferred; candidates with no or little insurance experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with CRM workflows and policy administration is preferred.
• ANZIIF certification is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to underwriters
• Assist with user access setup in systems, and workflow maintenance
• Align CRM processes with insurance operations (claims, underwriting, policy servicing & finance).
• Act as first-line support for CRM-related issues.
• Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy and governance compliance.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support Underwriting, Operations, Claims & Finance teams
• Assist to prepare process documentation, user guides, and system manuals.
• Learn and contribute to process improvements and automation projects.
• Deliver insights to improve customer lifecycle management.
