Job summary

Societe Generale in Hong Kong offers a 12-month Trainee contract within the Structuring Team, focusing on fixed-income derivatives coverage across Rates, Credit, and FX. You will support pricing, develop tools, and collaborate with senior structurers to understand pricing parameters and XVA impacts.

You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong coding skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication to interact with sales and trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar.
• Experience in a trading floor environment is a plus.
• Coding skills (VBA, Python) and automation mindset.
• Strong analytical, computer and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional writing, communication and presentations skills.
• Strong team players who can demonstrate creativity and initiative.
• Strong interest in financial markets and understanding complex products.
• Fluent English and Mandarin are mandatory.

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description

Structuring Team is in charge of products and solutions development, pricing and marketing of structured products. The Trainee will cover all fixed-income derivatives products and the following asset-classes: Rates, Credit, Foreign exchange.
