Job summary

Solactive AG, a global FinTech, is hiring in Hong Kong for a role focused on thematic equity indices and client collaboration. You will manage rebalancing cycles, apply quantitative approaches, and liaise with international clients including Asia-based banks and asset managers.

A strong Python background and English fluency are essential. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with data engineers and analysts, contributing to index development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Experience in managing and fostering client relationships across Asia Pac markets.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of thematic equity indices and ensure accuracy across rebalancing cycles.
• Execute systematic, rules-based selection and rebalancing of Solactive and client indices.
• Research thematic investment trends and apply quantitative, rules-based approaches.
• Act as key contact for international clients, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
• Enhance and maintain index algorithms within the company framework.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency in index operations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and developers across the lifecycle.
