Job summary

Syntero Partners is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Manager / Assistant Manager for a flagship Data Center project in Hong Kong. You will oversee testing and commissioning strategy, planning and execution, reporting to the Project Head and coordinating with engineering, construction and client teams.

The role requires 8+ years in data centers or major MEP projects, fluency in English and Chinese, and a solid grasp of electrical, MVAC and related interfaces, with experience in handover,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in data centers or large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of electrical, MVAC, fire services, ELV interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing and commissioning strategy, planning and execution.
• Review installation status, readiness, prerequisites and access before testing.
• Manage and monitor testing programme, method statements, trackers and reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants and client teams on sequences and inspections.

Testing & Commissioning Manager / Assistant Manager - Data Center (Electrical / MVAC)

A Data Center conglomerate is currently looking for a Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager / Assistant T&C Manager to manage their new Data Center project in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Head, you are expected to oversee testing and commissioning strategy, planning and execution for the project

Review installation status, pre-commissioning readiness, test prerequisites, authority requirements and access arrangements before formal testing activities.

Carry out and manage and monitor the testing and commissioning programme, method statements, trackers, readiness plans and reporting workflow.

Work closely with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, commissioning agents and client teams on testing sequence, witness inspections, hold points and issue resolution.

Lead and work with planning and project teams to align commissioning milestones with construction progress, energization, phased turnover and client operational requirements.

Requirement

Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.

8+ years of experience with data center, mission critical or large-scale MEP projects.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability understanding of electrical, MVAC, fire services, ELV and related system interface.

Experience with O&M manual close-out, training coordination and asset handover requirements.

Fluency in both English and Chinese.
