Job summary

Hitachi Rail Hong Kong Limited is seeking an engineer to support testing and commissioning of railway signalling systems. You will prepare testing documentation, deploy configurations to site and testing environments, and coordinate on-site with clients and project stakeholders.

Flexibility for night shifts and weekends is required; strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, with Cantonese and English proficiency to liaise across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic or computer engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Windows Server and basic networking.
• Experience in railway system testing or signalling projects preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Windows Server, and basic networking concepts.
• Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems.
• Knowledge of CBTC signalling systems and system log analysis is an advantage.
• Experience in railway system testing, commissioning, or signalling projects is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an on-site environment.
• Good command of Cantonese and English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, as required.
