Job summary

Lane Crawford is a renowned luxury department store seeking a Merchandise Executive to support merchandise selection and order placement for innovative programs, influencer collaborations, and exclusive pop-up collections. You will partner with Buyers, initiative owners, and brand partners to bring projects to life.

You will analyse sales trends, coordinate orders and shipments, and ensure timely data updates while collaborating with store teams and cross-functional colleagues.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Textile / Fashion Design, Logistics and Supply Chain or other related discipline.
• Experience in customer service, liaising with multiple vendors, administrative support in shipping / logistics, retail and / or wholesale merchandising
• Numbers driven with Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables

Responsibilities

• Analyse product sales trends and feedback to Buyers on future seasonal buys
• Coordinate purchase orders / proforma invoices, shipments and samples with vendors
• Track purchase order data in the system and coordinate with store team on shipments and price updates
• Support training materials with trend/product insights
• Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns

Merchandise Executive - WW Contemp

Lane Crawford is an internationally renowned luxury department store with over 175 years of success, delivering an exceptional and eclectic product curation with dynamic Asian spirit and values. As a Merchandise Executive, you will be a partner to the Buyer supporting the merchandise selection and order placement for innovative programs that integrate collaborations with key influencers, designers, and celebrities, as well as exclusive pop-up collections featuring stylists and tastemakers. Working closely with the initiative owners and buyers to bring the projects to live.

The Role

• Analyse product sales trends and data through merchandising reports and give feedback and recommendations to Buyers on potential adjustments to future seasonal buys
• Partner closely with brand partners and vendors on purchase orders / proforma invoice checking, shipment / delivery follow up as well as merchandise samples coordination and any other product information updates
• Oversee merchandise details by delivering and tracking purchase order data in the system in a timely manner
• Partner with our Retail Store Team regularly on product shipment information, price change, sale period and any other updates
• Provide supporting on trend / product materials for training
• Work together with internal stakeholders including Marketing and Communications Department to support our award-winning marketing campaigns

The Ideal Candidate

• Higher Diploma or above in Textile / Fashion Design, Logistics and Supply Chain or other related discipline
• Relevant working experience in customer service, liaising with multiple vendors, administrative support in shipping / logistics, retail and / or wholesale merchandising
• Numbers driven with excellent Excel skills and knowledge including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
• Attention to detail and good interpersonal and organization skills
• Good team player with strong sense of responsibility and accountability
