Job summary

ADECCO Hong Kong is recruiting a Service Manager to lead maintenance, servicing and deployment of rental diesel generator sets, ensuring reliability and readiness across the fleet.

You will develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans, coordinate field service, supervise technicians, and maintain QA standards while managing vehicles and parts inventory. Strong English/Cantonese and engineering background are required.

Job description

Lead the maintenance, servicing, and deployment of rental diesel generator sets, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and operational readiness of all equipment.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance plans for the generator fleet, encompassing both preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Coordinate and oversee all field service and maintenance activities, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently and within agreed service timelines.

Allocate responsibilities and supervise a team of service technicians, providing technical support, coaching, training, and performance management.

Establish and enforce quality assurance standards for maintenance and repair activities to ensure consistent service excellence.

Manage the maintenance and condition of service vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy, compliant, and fully equipped for field operations.

Monitor and control spare parts inventory for generator sets and service vehicles, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective inventory management.

Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt, professional, and effective support to clients.

Promote and enforce compliance with company policies, industry standards, and workplace health and safety regulations.

Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, service activities, and team productivity.

Requirements

Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

At least 5-8 years of experience in service management, technical management, or a similar leadership role, preferably within the generator, power systems, or heavy equipment industry.

Holder of a valid REW Grade A0 license is preferred.

Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage.

Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license is preferred.

Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Working hours: 9:0 AM to 6:00 PM

Monday to Friday work week, work on alternate Saturdays may be required based on service needs
